Application closing dates vary depending on the intake you are applying for.  

The online application portal deadlines for our upcoming intakes are as follows:

  • August 2025 intake: apply by 18 August
  • October 2025 intake: apply by 13 October
  • January 2026 intake: apply by 5 January
  • March 2026 intake: apply by 2 March
  • May 2026 intake: apply by 27 April
  • July 2026 intake: apply by 29 June
  • August 2026 intake: apply by 24 August
  • October 2026 intake: apply by 19 October

Your fees will vary depending on the course you choose. Visit your course page of interest for more information on fees. Please be aware that fees are subject to annual review by the University, with any new rates effective from the beginning of each calendar year.  

FEE-HELP loans are available to eligible online students at the University of Melbourne to assist with paying all or part of your fees. For more information on FEE-HELP loans, including eligibility, visit the Study Assist website

Our Financial Aid page also provides information about how we can help you navigate the challenges of having a limited income while studying. The Financial Aid team offers details and advice about budgeting, managing debt and Centrelink payments, and can help you to access assistance during times of financial hardship. 

Throughout your study journey you can rely on your Student Success Adviser for support. They are dedicated to maximising your study experience whether that be helping you structure your days, helping with assessments or providing valuable advice related to online study.

Supporting documentation is required to show evidence that you meet our course entry requirements. If you are unsure which documents you will need to supply, get in touch with our team. They are more than happy to help.  

Step three: Submit your application 

Once you have your supporting documents, you can apply directly via the application portal.
