According to projections, the health and community services sector will grow more rapidly than any other in the next five years*. As a result, the University of Melbourne has developed the Advanced Social Work program to meet this growing demand.
Designed for practising social workers, the Advanced Social Work program will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the knowledge, policy and research within this field. You will address the common complex and growing challenges faced by social workers in the field today, so that you can improve your practice and deepen your impact on individuals and society more broadly.
Alternatively, you can undertake the Specialist Certificate in Implementation Science to gain advanced theoretical and technical knowledge in using methods of implementation science in professional practice.
As a graduate of the Advanced Social Work course you will gain the same qualification and graduation certificate as an on-campus student because you will achieve identical learning outcomes from the same academics that teach our on-campus courses. If you complete your master’s you will also be invited to attend a graduation ceremony in Melbourne.
