The Tertiary Education Management course offers a suite of subjects that will provide you with specialised skills and knowledge for leading and managing successfully in tertiary sector institutions.
Drawing on the latest evidence-based research in tertiary education leadership and management, these subjects are taught by leading international experts, giving you access to global expertise and perspectives.
You also have the opportunity to study according to your interest and expertise and specialise in the areas of tertiary education, quality assurance, research management, and governance.

The estimated hours required for each subject is between 18-22 hours per week, but this varies for each student and depends on your task management and planning, familiarity with the material, reading style and speed.
To be considered for entry to a single subject in the Tertiary Education Management course, course you must meet the selection criteria for one of the courses below:
- Master of Tertiary Education (Management)
- Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education (Management)
- Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education (Quality Assurance)
- Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education (Governance).
Most courses have multiple intakes per year. Check the dates of upcoming terms.
The fee for students who enrol in a single subject in the Tertiary Education Management is:
Fees are the same for both domestic and international students.
Each subject is designed by academics, subject coordinators and learning designers to deliver an interactive and enriching experience, with regular contact from lecturers, tutors and a dedicated online Student Support team.
The fee listed above is for a 12.5 point subject undertaken in 2017. Fees are subject to review annually by the University. However, any increase in fee will not exceed 5 per cent per annum.
