Apply a global focus to your teaching career.

Certified and accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organisation®, the International Education (International Baccalaureate) program provides qualified teachers with the theoretical and practical skills related to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme and IB education more broadly.

Designed for practising teachers who are passionate about education and interested in the IB philosophy. You will gain skills to cultivate international mindedness within your classroom and open a world of opportunity for your career.

This program offers three specialisations within each course including, the Primary Years Programme (PYP) (ages 3–12), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) (ages 11-16) and the Diploma Programme (DP) (ages 16-18). Each programme is centred on a creative and challenging framework that nurtures individual strengths and encourages students to drive their own learning, through inquiry and independence of thought. Teachers who complete either of these specialisations will gain the holistic teaching tools necessary to act as facilitators and mentors to encourage critical thinking.

Flexible 100% online study means you gain high quality professional development whilst maintaining your current practice. You are expected to attend the scheduled weekly live tutorials. These are designed to enhance your learning experience through participation with the rest of the online learning community.

You can progress from the one-year Graduate Certificate to the Master of International Education (International Baccalaureate), or apply directly to the Masters award.
