The Professional Certificate in Workplace Leadership is a high-impact leadership course developing the fundamental skills that are required for great leaders.

Whether you are an early-to-mid career professional who wants more responsibility in your role, or a senior professional aiming to build your foundational leadership skills to better lead teams, the Professional Certificate in Workplace Leadership will equip you with the fundamentals to become a great leader.

Developed and delivered by the Centre for Workplace Leadership, located with the Faculty of Business and Economics, you will learn from industry leaders and experts in the field, while getting a jump-start on your personal growth.

Course aims

Research shows that undertaking leadership training early in an individual’s career can positively influence their leadership skills at every level of an organisation. We also know that management and leadership skills are most effectively learned through structured or formal programs, which integrate problem-based projects.

This pioneering course aims to provide practical learning opportunities for those seeking to extend their business, managerial and leadership skills. As a student of this program, you will learn the fundamentals of leadership including strategic planning, problem solving, managing people, and influencing others, which can be applied immediately to the workplace.
